NQF Level 6 Financial Markets Diploma FAQs
What is the structure of the NQF Level 6 Financial Markets course?
The programme consists of eight modules, each including an assignment and an exam.
How often are the NQF workshops held?
Workshops typically begin in March and take place once a month per module through online sessions.
What are the pass requirements for the course?
Participants must achieve:
Assignment Pass Mark
You must achieve at least 70% to pass the assignment in each module.
Exam Pass Mark:
You must achieve at least 60% to pass the exam in each module.
What happens if I fail an assessment?
Should you not get the required minimum mark, there is one rewrite available at no extra cost.
Do I need a formal qualification to enrol for NQF Level 6?
You need an NQF6 qualification or similar, OR alternatively some years of relevant work experience in Financial Markets or Finance.
When do NQF Level 6 courses start?
Registrations usually open from November to February, with workshops starting in March. Corporate groups may also begin in-house programmes between March and June.
Will I receive an official qualification upon successful completion of this course?
Yes, Bankseta will issue the NQF level 6 qualification – National Certificate: Financial Markets and Instruments.

How do I register for a Full Value course?
How do I pay for Full Value courses?
Private candidates must complete full payment before the course start date. Corporate candidates may have the course funded through their organisation’s HR or Learning and Development department.
Are payment plans available?
Flexible payment plans may be arranged depending on individual or corporate requirements.
What is the cancellation policy?
You can cancel before the first workshop free of charge. Once learning materials have been received and workshops have started, the full course fee becomes payable.
